Summer Reading

Part of Alexis's Summer homework packet, was to READ, READ, READ! Luckily, we've started the Junie B Jones series and she loves it! In addition to the reading, her new teacher wants to see WHERE she is reading. We've been trying to find creative places which makes reading, that much more fun.

Here are a few pics that we sent to her new teacher.

 It's fun going to her school's library on Wednesday's.

 She even read to her reading specialist from Kindergarten! She was very impressed with how far she's come!

 She was able to read to her older cousin Sereph, on the dock, at the lake house.

 And even while sunning at the beach, at the lake.

We honestly are so proud with how well she is reading. I feel like it went from reading "word-wall" words to everything. Overnight!
