We celebrated Carolyn's birthday this year in a very special way. Jim surprised her, with US! No kids, just adults. We had a fabulous evening.
We all met up at The Mushooloo (which is a boat, in the water, that was turned in to a restaurant) for cocktails and dinner and then went to the Neil Diamond concert!
It was a beautiful night to be walking in the city.
Neil Diamond!
It sure does take a village to watch someone else's kids. My dear friend Annmarie offered to watch the girls. She has two of her own. Because of camps, dance lessons, her husbands schedule (life basically), she had to recruit her parents help to take her kids somewhere, which led to them dropping off her two nieces. Needless to say, my girls, her kids and her two nieces had a fun-filled evening with pizza, games, books and a sleepover!
Sound asleep! Annmarie is good!
Happy Birthday Carolyn. Thank you Jim for having us join you on such a fun night. Thank you to Annmarie, your parents and Rachel & Anna for allowing the opportunity for me and Ben to have an overdue night out without the girls! Couldn't have done it without you all!
