Avery's 3-yr check-up

Friday, Avery had her 3-yr check-up. I didn't necessarily go with any concerns this time, just anxious to see how big she's getting. It seems like over night she turned in to this grown up little girl.

As it turns out, she's still not easy going. She wouldn't do the eye test, hearing test, stand on the scale or stand to get measured. She has to make everything difficult!

They weighed her at 30 lb 3.3 oz and that puts her in the 45%tile.
She was measured at 3' 0.3" tall and in the 31%tile.
For BMI, she's in the 63%tile.

Based on what they say she is "learning now" and what she actually knows, she is ahead of the game!
-Plays well with other children
-Copies a circle and lines
-Rides tricycle
-Jumps forward
-Uses 3 word sentences
-Uses pronouns
-Knows 3 colors
-Counts up to 3
-Uses toilet during the day
-Puts on t-shirt by self
-Sings and dances
-Likes make - believe play

What your child will be learning next:
-Full sentences
-Can deliver a message
-Can have a conversation
-Uses "in," "on" and "under" when talking
-Likes pretend play
-Draws a person
-Dresses by self
-Knows 5 or more colors
-Listens to whole stories
-Hops and balances on 1 foot
-Says full name and age
-Matches a picture and object

Luckily for Avery, she doesn't have to go back till her 4-year well check!
