This past weekend, Avery had her first school project. She was SO excited when her teacher told her that her name was picked to bring home The Philly Phanatic for the weekend. It just so happened that we had a busy, fun, jam-packed weekend.
Here they are leaving school.
It was a rainy Friday, so they used the umbrella to stay dry.
The ride home.
First, she wanted to color with "Philly". (That's what she called him.)
Then she wanted to play dress-up!

He smelled dinner before it was even on the table.
They had dinner together.
She wanted to take him for a ride on her bike.
And she wanted him to sleep with her...in Ariana's jammies!
She took him to Alexis's soccer game on Saturday.
They watched her play.
And then they watched some of the second-to-last Phillies games of the season.
Ms. Alecia was home with husband Carey, daughter Willow and brother Jason. Perfect photo op!

Sunday he went to Avery's soccer game and watched her run and score goals.

Then we headed right to her friend Connor's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.
He even got to meet Chuck E!
What a weekend!
Thank you Miss Briana. As a family, we really enjoyed this project. Avery enjoyed showing him off to everyone!
She'll miss him and we wish him well on his next adventure!
