This past Sunday Alexis participated in her first Triathlon at the CB YMCA! We are so proud of her! She had to be up bright and early at 6:15am but she was excited and ready to go!
It was a bit chilly but quickly turned in to a bright, sunny and beautiful day!
She started with completing a half of a lap in the pool. Daddy was in the water with her but she never needed him!

After she finished the swim portion, she had to bike .25 of a mile and then run .14 of a mile.
She finished the race! She enjoyed hearing them announce her name as she crossed the finish line and quickly enjoyed a fruit smoothie.

Her collection now consists of 3 medals!
Grammy and Grandpa came down to watch the younger two girls so both Mommy and Daddy could be there with her. Thanks Grammy and Grandpa!
She really had a great time doing this race. We are so proud of her! We love that she has this interest. She shows drive and determination and is proud wearing the medal around her neck!

On to the next! A 1K in Ivyland on 8/22. A race the entire family will participate in!
