Happy Thanksgiving!

We all have so much to be thankful for!

We have two happy, beautiful daughters, extended loving families and many close friends. Thank you to you all for the special role you play in our every day lives.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. We spent the morning hours with Miss Alecia and her family and the evening with the Yarrington's, Fergusson's, Ziegler's and Stracione's.

I spent Thanksgiving night and early Friday morning doing some Black Friday shopping! I can thankfully say, I am for the most part, DONE! What a good feeling.

Ben was graciously willing to put up our tree so it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our house!

Here are some recent pics of the girls.

Here both girls are at the table coloring.

Happy Turkey Day everyone!

A VERY special request!!!

Dear Alexis,
When I was just a little girl
about the size of you,
I dreamed one day I'd fall in love
And then get married too!

So now that I am all grown up,
about to be a bride,
I want you as my flower girl,
to be right by my side!

For it is common knowledge that
a wedding is not complete,
without a pretty flower girl,
so dear to us and sweet!

Love,
Miss Rebecca

This is Miss Rebecca and her fiance Mark! They will be getting married in June next year and asked me to be their Flower Girl! What a special job!

Miss Rebecca is a very good friend of mommy's, who she also works with.

Thank you Miss Rebecca for thinking of me, loving me and asking me to be in your wedding! I can't wait to go and pick out my pretty dress with you!

Love, Alexis

Avery's 15-month check-up

It went well today.

Avery weighs 21 lb 0.5 oz. This puts her in the 44.98%tile based on weight for age.
She stands 2' 7.25" tall and in the 66.47%tile for weight.
Her head is 18.5" around which puts her in the 80.48%tile for head circumference.

They did not give her her vaccines today due to still having the low-grade fever as of the weekend.

They recommend I take her to the dentist right around 18 months of age.

I need to start a Vitamin D supplement and they encouraged me to call Early Intervention for Speech Therapy. This is through the same program that provided her Physical Therapy back when she was 7/8 months old.

Over all, all is good!

Trick or Treat!

Sorry, don't think I'll be getting Halloween cards in time.

Here are our girls in their Halloween costumes!

A Princess, of course! (Princess Sophia)

And her Ladybug sidekick!

Happy Halloween!

Notice anything new?

Alexis has been asking and asking to get her ears pierced.
I was honest with her and I told her it was going to hurt, but only for a minute. She still wanted it done.

We have it on video and it's pretty funny! She SCREAMED!!!

Although it hurt then, she loves it now! She slept well last night and is letting me clean them. I hope this continues to go well, for the next 6 weeks!

Now Daddy can buy her jewelry!
