Random pics
Just some random pics.
Somewhere I have a post and pictures of Alexis and Avery both in this same outfit. Ariana's turn. If I find that post, I'm going to repost with all three pictures!
Our neighbor Miss Nancy got the girls stamps. They love them!
Every day I have given myself some chores to do (to keep up with them all) and Alexis has been helping with the vacuuming of the kitchen floor. Unfortunately, this chore we have to do almost daily. Fortunately for me, Avery now likes to help!
Daddy and smiling Ariana!
If you look closely, she finally found her thumb! I don't think she's found it since, and I think I'm ok with that.
Ah, my favorite place...Gaspers. This time they had a story time with a "real" princess fairy. Alexis enjoyed the story and Avery enjoyed the soft pretzel and coloring!

Surprise visit!
Last weekend we had a surprise visit from Uncle Mark, Aunt Susanna and cousins Sereph and Roland!
The girls were SO excited to see them and time to play with them. It was very special and the girls are still talking about it!
Uncle Mark's got the touch!
The kids found a lady bug and that is what they are looking at.
Sorry Grammy, Sereph is missing.
Here is the lady bug!
Saying good-bye! With hugs and giggles!
Hugs, but no giggles here! :)
The girls are still looking at the lady bug.
Thanks Uncle Mark and Aunt Susanna for coming to visit. We had a great time! Hope to see you again real soon.

Work party
Here are a few pics I'd like to share from my work farewell party. It was beautiful with lots of good food, great friends and yummy cake!
This WAS my boss, NOW friend, Kathleen.
Haha. An old pic of the girls, but this is the outfit they wore to my party!
On the ride home, they quickly fell asleep!

Happy Birthday Mom-Mom!
Mom-Mom's birthday was in the beginning of March and we were able to celebrate with her with a yummy cake both girls helped to make for her.
Happy Birthday (again) Mom-Mom!
We love you!

Fun Friday!
Today was filled with lots of Art!
First, this is a pic of the snow from yesterday.
After Ben snow-blowed.
Avery making pretty pictures with her markers.
The girls playing with their sand.
Ariana watching.
Playing with crayons. We went through the entire container of crayons and took out all the broken ones and melted them down and made new ones!
The day ended with Friday Night Pizza Night with Daddy!
We were glad to see Friday but even more excited for the weekend.
TGIF!

Ariana - 2-month check-up
I am extremely thankful to a woman named Heather at the Doctors office for calling me and getting us in today so I don't have to travel out in the snow tomorrow.
Ariana now weighs 10 lbs 1 oz and she is in the 16%tile based on her weight-for-age.
She stands 1' 11.5" high and is in the 87%tile for length-for age.
Her head circumference is 15" and that puts her in the 40%tile.
She is growing very nicely!
We stopped her reflux medicine to see if she can handle being off it or if she really needs it. The doctor was really happy I made her an Allergy appointment. Not only to get answers regarding the milk but also because of the congestion. That was reassuring for me. We are also going to start her on some prune juice to see if that helps her.
What your baby is learning now:
-Moves arms and kicks
-Lifts head when on stomach
-Reacts to noise
-Sees best from 8 to 10 inches away
-Makes sounds
-Facial expressions to show emotions
What you can do to encourage your baby's development:
-Sing together
-Talk and smile while looking at your baby's face
-Choose a bedtime and sleep routine
-Vary the sound of your voice
-Slowly move objects for your baby to watch
-Give your baby some tummy time each day making sure that your baby is awake and you are there to watch
What your baby will be learning next:
-Coos
-Sleeps for longer stretches of time
-Smiles at faces
-Pulls at clothes
-Bats or hits at toys
-Watches objects as they move
Next week I will have an update from the Allergist.
Thanks for checking in!
