Birthday Party #1

It was a Birthday Weekend for Alexis! Turning 4 is a Big deal!

Friday she celebrated with her friends in her classroom with fruit kabobs and pumpkin flavored popcorn. She loved them!

Saturday was her "friend" birthday party. Due to a slight change in plans, thanks to Mother Nature and the rain, we started at a pizza place for lunch. From there, we all went to a pumpkin patch for a hayride, some play and pumpkin picking.

Alexis was looking forward to her party being at the pumpkin patch since July, so I am SO thankful we were able to fit it in with the weather the way it was. Although it stopped raining, it was still chilly and damp. That fortunately didn't bother the kids.

Progress is being made!

We have made major progress in our old "guess-room/office" and Ben is doing great work, making the room look pretty!

My vision is crisp, clean, classic, elegant and total DIVA!!! White, shiny and bling on the bright pink walls! What do you think?

Take a peek!

This is part of the bedding and the inspiration for the room.

In case you didn't know, the room used to be blue.
This closet was full of shelving.

Taped up and ready to prime.
 Ben priming the walls!
He's getting so good at this!
Priming done and now ready for the color. Pink up top and gray on the bottom...with white chair rail! I am so excited!
 First coat of pink, done!
The rest will be a surprise!

Warrington Days

Yesterday we went to Warrington Days with The Harpers.

The girls LOVED taking a ride on a yellow school bus and we got to watch a really cool "Digger" show.
