It was a Birthday Weekend for Alexis! Turning 4 is a Big deal!
Friday she celebrated with her friends in her classroom with fruit kabobs and pumpkin flavored popcorn. She loved them!
Saturday was her "friend" birthday party. Due to a slight change in plans, thanks to Mother Nature and the rain, we started at a pizza place for lunch. From there, we all went to a pumpkin patch for a hayride, some play and pumpkin picking.
Alexis was looking forward to her party being at the pumpkin patch since July, so I am SO thankful we were able to fit it in with the weather the way it was. Although it stopped raining, it was still chilly and damp. That fortunately didn't bother the kids.
To be continued...

Progress is being made!
We have made major progress in our old "guess-room/office" and Ben is doing great work, making the room look pretty!
My vision is crisp, clean, classic, elegant and total DIVA!!! White, shiny and bling on the bright pink walls! What do you think?
Take a peek!
This is part of the bedding and the inspiration for the room.
In case you didn't know, the room used to be blue.
This closet was full of shelving.
Taped up and ready to prime.
Ben priming the walls!
He's getting so good at this!
Priming done and now ready for the color. Pink up top and gray on the bottom...with white chair rail! I am so excited!
First coat of pink, done!
The rest will be a surprise!

Warrington Days
Yesterday we went to Warrington Days with The Harpers.
The girls LOVED taking a ride on a yellow school bus and we got to watch a really cool "Digger" show.

Eagles game!
A few weeks ago, me and Ben went to an Eagles game with his FED EX rep. It was a beautiful day to see a game and we had amazing seats.
A few recent pics
Sorry it's been awhile since I've posted pictures.
Two weeks ago, Alexis started back up with Dance!
A lady that I used to work with made the girls a sock money and dog! They are enjoying them. Thanks Barb!
Alexis has been sleeping with her monkey and even took it to school to show her friends!
Star glasses!
Avery is a star too!

The Petting Zoo with Avery
We have a local landscape/gardening place near us that often offers some really nice kid activities. Yesterday, Alexis had dance and had a birthday party right afterwards so I took Avery to Gaspers for the petting zoo. She is really in to animals right now and loved being able to feed and pet all the animals.
It's not a great pic of the rabbits but I have never seen rabbits quite as cute as these. She loved how soft they were.
The camel was too big and scared her a bit. She had no interest in feeding him.
She loved feeding the goats and sheet. As you can see, she let them eat the feed right out of the palm of her hand!
Here she is pointing to the two turtles in this cage. She did not feed the turtles.
Here she was actually counting all the chickens!
She liked the ducks. She kept trying to pet them and they would nip at her fingers/hand! She laughed!
It was a fun Mommy and Avery day!
