Oh these pillows. The girls LOVE their new pillows! They are soft, they are personalized and they are really special! These poor pillow cases (and pillows) have been washed a million times since Christmas. Part of the reason these Christmas pics are getting up so late.

Ariana's 2nd birthday

This year, Ariana lost out. We've been fighting some type of illness for what seems like forever. Between the illnesses, taking turns & sharing germs and trying to air out the house, we had to cancel Ariana's birthday party. We had a small cake for her here with just us, but unfortunately she wasn't able to celebrate with the rest of the family.

December is already a busy and hectic month, that trying to "squeeze" in a birthday party too just isn't my way of doing things. Going forward we will celebrate Ariana's "1/2" birthday in July with Avery.

 As always, we had a fun visit with Aunt Carol. She made Ariana her very own ABC book! Ariana loves it! It's very special.

Ariana's 2-year check-up

(Christmas pics are coming...I promise!)

Yesterday I had Ariana's 2-year well check. It came at perfect time since she has been under the weather for so long now. This upper respiratory virus just keeps going round and round in this house. Thankfully, it is just that. A virus. Ears look good and lungs are clear. Just have to wait it out.

Ariana is doing great and staying right on track.
She is 2'9.75" tall - she is in the 57%tile
She weighs 23 lbs 15.8 oz - she is in the 16%tile
Her head circumference is 18.75" around - she is in the 54%tile.

This munchkin is sweet, helpful, talkative, stubborn and knows exactly what she wants. She continues to make us smile, laugh and surprise us.
