Happy Father's Day Daddy!

We have the BEST Daddy!
We started celebrating Daddy on Friday night with a trip to The Little Gym! Alexis, Avery, Daddy and Uncle John had fun in the gym, painted a rock (for Daddy) and had snacks! Today we woke up, gave Daddy our presents, cards and crafts and then we went to the park! We ended the weekend with a fun dinner out, with Grandad and Grandmom!

 These were the crafts we made for Daddy a few weeks ago when we had all our neighbors over!

 Best Daddy Ever! A frame of all his girls, he can take to work!

 Frisbee golf! He didn't get to try it out today but hopefully soon. We're all excited to see how well he plays!

 Funny right? Water bottles, kites, ball, frisbees and ball popper! It was a fun trip!

Progress Report Time! 2014-2015 - AVERY

Avery is doing awesome!

Here are a few things Avery's teacher says about her.

-"Avery is able to match items to a picture of the same item correctly. She can also count up to thirteen independently".
-"Avery has a large vocabulary, speaks very clearly and is always asking "why" in her conversations. She also loves listening to stories and 'reading' them to herself!"
-"Avery is able to put on her coat by herself. She completes most hygiene routines independently, such as wiping her nose and washing her hands."
-"Avery can walk on her tip-toes ans successfully attempts to hop on one foot. She also uses writing utensils to "write" specific lines and marks on the paper."
-"Avery is able to correctly identify the weather and mark it on our weather board. She also loves exploring the items in our Science Center and taking "notes" of what she has discovered."
-"Avery uses a variety of art materials and will describe the picture she is creating. She is always drawing pictures and loves to dance and sing!"
-*"Avery is a sweet little girl who is a joy to have in class! She is always ready to play and laugh with her friends. Avery will work to gain a greater understanding of more and less concepts while playing with toys and during sorting and matching games. She will also work on lacing a string through a lacing card and string large beads. We will work with Avery on sequencing the events of stories and events of the day through a variety of sequencing activities. It has been wonderful to watch Avery's progress this semester!"

Avery loves her teachers! She's happy in the mornings to go to school and enjoys her time there. The teacher said to me that Avery has grown even more since she filled out the progress report! I believe Avery recently started wearing big girl undies and is VERY excited about doing so! We also have to give thanks to Alexis. Playing with Alexis has greatly improved Avery's vocabulary and imagination. She is learning so much from her big sister!
My little monkey is growing up and we are very proud of her! She is one smart cookie!

Ariana is almost 6 months! I do think we are starting to make a turn for the better! She is still a Mamma's girl and happiest most when she's in my arms, but overall things are getting brighter!

Sweet Child Of Mine

Aunt Carol, this post is for you!

I fell in love with Ariana's room from the moment Ben started painting it! It is absolutely PERFECT! We have everything hung and Ariana loves it just as much!

This is a shadow box Ariana got from Grandmom. We've got some special items in side, just for Ariana!

 Where all the feeding happen. We've had this chair for all three, but Aunt Joan re-covered all the cushions.

Thank you to everyone who had their hands in making this room so very special for Ariana! I hope for her, it makes her just as happy to be in it as it does me!

An extra, EXTRA, special dance recital dress rehearsal!

Today was Alexis's dress rehearsal for her Ballet dance. Alexis loves her dance class, loves being on stage, loves getting dressed up, and as you will see, loves posing for the camera. This year she does one dance to the song, I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing.

Today Mom-Mom, Grandmom & Grand-dad went to watch!

 The song has a line in it that goes "and PEACE throughout the land".

 THIS is the reason it was EXTRA special. Cousin Eric was in from CA to watch his God daughter perform and he stayed to watch Alexis too! We don't get to see Eric very often, so this was pretty awesome!
